August 16, 2010 Sky 9 is above you! Edit Delete Tags Autopost So, this afternoon was a surprise. My producer spoke in my ear saying our helicopter was flying above and would shoot the tag to my live shot. It was one of those cool unscripted television moments I have never experienced before. I'm thoroughly enjoying my new job at 9News. I work with some of the kindest, most professional, most helpful people. They've supported me so far, and I've had the opportunity to tell some great stories. I'm continuing to hone my skills, of course. I learn something new every day about shooting, editing, live shots...it's a continual learning curve. But I'm smiling and laughing more than I ever have with a job and I am having a lot of fun. I have confidence in why I am here. I have confidence I will continue to tell good stories and affect change in Denver.
